Open to children under the age of 18. Closing Date – 5 December 2020.
Write an essay from 200-500 words about how important clean water is to you, your community or your surroundings.
Email it, post it, upload it on the form below or put it in a bottle in the river and you could win a voucher (and you can choose the store) for R500. Open to all children up to the age of 18. Children under the age of 7 may submit a drawing. The top 3 go through to a national competition where the winning child’s school will win a water filter to the value of R15000!
Water is precious. Children are our future leaders and they will need to learn the importance of water before its too late.
Complete the form and upload your entry before December 5, 2020. No late entries will be accepted and all children must have their parents consent to enter. Finalists entries will be included onto Youtube. Entries will be made public and will be checked for plagerism.
So start writing/drawing. If you have challenges with writing ie blindness or other physical disabilities that prevent writing, then you may send in a video or audio essay with an accompanying note as to the reason for the video or audio (just so we keep it fair).
Although anyone in the world can enter, the voucher is redeemable at South African stores only.
January’s competition will be announced once the winner is selected for the current one.
